Transportation Supervisor - Remote

Overview

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the MedTrans fleet, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing daily routes.

In Short

• Oversee MedTrans fleet operations and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Optimize daily routes based on workloads and customer orders.
• Train and manage drivers according to MedTrans requirements.
• Maintain equipment in accordance with maintenance policies.
• Recruit, hire, and discipline drivers as necessary.
• Conduct meetings with drivers as per company policy.
• Provide technical guidance on complex issues.
• Monitor and review progress and accuracy of work.
• Ability to lift and stand for extended periods.
• Work in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience managing and dispatching drivers.
• At least 2 years of coaching and training experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Transportation Costing and Motor Carrier Operations.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Stand for 8 hours per day, up to 6 days a week.
