Overview

The Clinical Support Specialist (“CSS”) role is designed to provide both onsite/in-person clinical facilitation and remote administrative duties. In person, a CSS works with a clinician to facilitate care visits for patients. Remotely, a CSS works on administrative duties that include, but are not limited to, chart preparation and Behavioral Health Integration.

In Short

  • Assisting patients with behavioral health education.
  • Providing technical support for telehealth visits.
  • Accessing vitals and data from EMR.
  • Completing Behavioral Health Integration cases.
  • Recording data into EHR system.
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance.
  • Working closely with clinicians for smooth patient visits.
  • Performing core functions as assigned.
  • Adhering to HIPAA and PHI standards.
  • Providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma required.
  • 1+ year in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Medical Assistant or CNA certification a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Experience with online healthcare tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Commitment to customer service.
