Clinical Support Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Clinical Support Specialist (“CSS”) role is designed to provide both onsite/in-person clinical facilitation and remote administrative duties. In person, a CSS works with a clinician to facilitate care visits for patients. Remotely, a CSS works on administrative duties that include, but are not limited to, chart preparation and Behavioral Health Integration.

In Short

• Assist patients with education related to behavioral health visits.
• Provide technical support for telehealth visits.
• Access vitals and data from the facility’s EMR.
• Procure patient referral documents as needed.
• Act as a liaison between clinicians and facility staff.
• Complete assigned BHI cases within required timelines.
• Record relevant data into EHR system.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with medical information.
• Provide platinum-level customer service.
• Ability to travel to clinics when needed.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma required.
• 1+ year in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Medical Assistant or CNA certification a plus.
• Basic working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience with online healthcare tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Commitment to customer service and communication.
• Ability to work in a dedicated home office space.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
