BHI Support Specialist - Remote

Overview

MediTelecare is the nation’s leading telemedicine provider of behavioral health care to skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living facilities seeks, an experienced full time BHI Support Specialist. This position is responsible for assisting the ancillary program manager in Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) related tasks. Note: This is a hybrid role. Candidates must be in drivable distance to Parkersburg West Virginia for occasional on-site facility coverage.

In Short

• Assist with day-to-day functions of BHI.
• Maintain BHI assignments for office staff and remote facilitator employees.
• Assist in auditing BHI completed notes for accuracy and quality.
• Provide technical support for telehealth visits.
• Act as a liaison between clinicians and facility staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with sensitive medical information.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Assist with employee training and support.
• Handle and clean MediTelecare equipment properly.
• Travel to cover clinics when needed.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma required.
• 1+ year in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Medical Assistant or CNA certification a plus.
• Basic working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience in the use of online healthcare tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
• Reliable home office setup meeting HIPAA standards.
