Overview

This position involves providing expertise in Genetics by reviewing Prior Authorizations for treatment as part of the Medical Review Institute of America, LLC (MRIoA), which is a national Independent Review Organization.

• Review Prior Authorizations for treatment in Genetics.
• Manage your own schedule with required daytime availability.
• Average workload is 1-2 hours per week with no minimum expectations.
• Cases take 30-60 minutes to complete, with additional compensation for peer-to-peer calls.

• Must be a non-employed Independent Contractor (1099).

• Must have a Medical Degree MD or DO and be Board Certified in Genetics.
• Solid computer navigation skills required.
• Must have an unrestricted state medical license.
