Database Analyst - Remote

Overview

MDD is looking for a Database Analyst to serve as an essential supporting function of the accounting team. The Database Analyst will maintain data storage, assess database design, and gather, organize, and interpret statistical information based on the data in the database.

In Short

• Oversee ad hoc database development and modification efforts across multiple platforms.
• Design and implement secure, efficient, and accurate databases for project-based use.
• Stay current with data storage and management best practices.
• Ensure databases are designed to meet specifications and requirements while minimizing costs.
• Develop and maintain documentation and standards.
• Assist senior teammates by identifying and resolving production or application development issues.
• Gather, organize, and analyze statistical data from the database.
• Support short-term project management and task tracking.
• Transform unstructured data into organized, reportable formats.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• At least three years of experience in Data Processing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL Server, and other database programs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, or other web-based languages is preferred.
• Strong understanding of database design and construction.
