Independently explore data for insights about Latino communities.
Transform data into findings through analysis and visualization using R, Python, and/or SQL.
Communicate data-driven stories to internal and external audiences.
Collaborate on survey data collection, including sampling and weighting.
Contribute to the maintenance and development of Equis’ analysis codebase.
Use version control and project management tools to manage tasks.
Work on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
Participate in team meetings and retreats.
Jump in where needed, from briefings to data clean-up.
Contribute to the ideation and design of research projects.

Requirements

1+ year of experience using R or Python for analysis.
Understanding of statistics and methods of social research.
Familiarity with census data and polling data.
Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.
Commitment to enhancing the well-being of the Latino community.
