Senior Electrical Power Engineer - Remote

Overview

Matrix Technologies is looking for an energetic and customer focused engineer who would like to be part of a team environment. The Power Engineer will perform electrical engineering tasks with some oversight from a more senior engineer. This position may be the sole power engineering resource or work with a team of engineers depending upon project size and complexity.

• Perform electrical engineering tasks with oversight.

• Minimum 6-12 years of industrial engineering experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology is necessary.
• Travel required: 25% to 30% locally and overnight.
• PE license preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD or REVIT is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code is important.

Requirements

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
• Team oriented with strong collaboration skills.
• 6-12 years of relevant industrial experience.
• Preferred experience in Food & Beverage, Refinery, Steel, Oil and Gas industries.
• Ability to understand and apply the National Electrical Code.
• Experience in low-voltage power distribution design.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with electrical system analysis software is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
