Staff / Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly analytical Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant to support our growing e-commerce and retail business.

In Short

• Prepare and post journal entries related to revenue, COGS, inventory, accruals, prepaid expenses, and operating expenses.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Maintain accurate account reconciliations.
• Investigate discrepancies in GL activity.
• Export and analyze Shopify reports for sales and revenue.
• Process vendor bills and support basic AR activities.
• Assist with cash forecasting and cash flow analysis.
• Maintain strong internal controls and documentation.
• Recommend automation tools and process enhancements.
• 2–6+ years of accounting experience required.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or Desktop.
• Experience working with Shopify financial data.
• Solid understanding of GAAP fundamentals.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
