Development Internship - Remote

Overview

Marbles Kids Museum is seeking a passionate Development Intern who will primarily support the 2026 Marbles Imagination Ball by coordinating auctions, assisting with marketing, and providing communication support.

In Short

• Support planning and execution of the 2026 Marbles Imagination Ball.
• Assist with auction coordination, including managing databases and soliciting donations.
• Help with sponsor/guest communications and registrations.
• Participate in internal event planning and collaboration.
• Create and execute event marketing materials.
• Assist with onsite coordination during the event.
• Research grant opportunities aligned with museum priorities.
• Update data for grant creation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Development Team.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a formal education class requiring an internship for credit.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PPT, and Outlook.
• Passion for Marbles' mission and/or nonprofit management.
• Outstanding communication skills and customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Self-motivated, prompt, and reliable.
• Able to work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
