Overview

The Affluent Market Regional Manager directs sales management over a retail market, designing, marketing, and implementing strategies to promote business and securities sales for assigned geographic region retail markets.

In Short

• Manage the Affluent Market sales function for assigned geographic region retail markets.
• Supervise a sales team of approximately 15 – 20 Financial Advisors.
• Coordinate sales initiatives and serve as a liaison with other Bank departments.
• Support training and advisor development, creating a motivating environment.
• Monitor compliance training and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Network within centers of influence through seminars and community involvement.
• Participate in designing and implementing marketing strategies.
• Manage sales initiatives, event planning, and long-range planning.
• Ensure timely implementation of internal and external audit points.
• Promote an environment that reflects the M&T Bank brand.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 9 years’ experience in a sales environment.
• In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 13 years’ experience including 9 years in sales.
• FINRA Series 7, 63, 24, 65 Licenses.
• New York State Life/Accident and Health Insurance license.
• Master's degree preferred.
• FINRA regulatory/compliance experience preferred.
