Finance Operations Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Finance Operations Specialist will manage procure-to-pay processes, ensuring vendor relationships and transaction accuracy.

In Short

• Manage high-volume creator payments via wire transfer and PayPal.
• Maintain vendor and creator records for data integrity.
• Execute semi-monthly payroll preparation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes.
• Collaborate with the Finance team and support initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Support cash flow visibility through accurate payment tracking.
• Serve as a point of contact for payment inquiries.
• Support month-end close activities and reconciliations.
• Work remotely anywhere in Canada.

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounts payable and/or payroll experience.
• Post-secondary education.
• In-depth understanding of Payroll and Accounts Payable.
• Strong understanding of month-end preparation.
• Proficiency in financial software and spreadsheets.
• Attention to detail with data accuracy.
• Positive, proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently from home.
