Requirements

• Required: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential through AAPC.
• Required: Experience with risk adjustment (HCC) and Medicare Advantage coding.
• Required: Experience with multiple EMR systems (e.g., Athenahealth, Epic).
• Preferred: Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) credential.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical coding experience.
• Thorough understanding of coding guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
