Magpie Literacy is on a bold mission to eradicate illiteracy, and we’re looking for an Engineering Manager of DevOps & Security to keep our production heartbeat strong and secure. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you’ll own the operational health, security protocols, and compliance programs that safeguard all aspects of our learning experience.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps, SecDevOps, and Security roles.
• 3+ years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments.
• Ability to lead teams and foster collaboration.
• Experience with risk assessments and code reviews.
• People-centric and mission-driven mindset.
• Experience managing a mix of employees and contractors.
• Strong documentation practices.
• Innovative problem-solving skills.
