Overview

The Assignment Ready Counselor (ARC) will provide short-term counseling services to military service members and their families, particularly during surge situations.

In Short

• Provides counseling services to military personnel and families.
• Offers non-medical counseling and wellness presentations.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in mental health or social work.
• Experience with military culture preferred.
• Knowledge of brief therapy methods.
• Must be adaptable to varying assignments.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance.
• Must comply with site-specific requirements.
• Fluent in English and a US citizen.
• Establishes relationships with community resources.
