Overview

The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for providing proactive feedback and recommendations on handling, control, and communication for all aspects related to a specific customer’s program, ensuring effective logistics operations.

In Short

• Compile reports for vendor accounts.
• Collaborate with internal departments like transportation and accounting.
• Manage billing for usage-based services.
• Monitor container inventory and demurrage.
• Analyze weekly performance metrics for customers.
• Support in resolving operational issues.
• Act as the point of contact for customer queries.
• Maintain customs records and regulatory paperwork.
• Participate in customer HYPERCARE situations.
• Other assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Experience in drayage and port activity.
• Ability to manage complex projects independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Self-starter attitude with teamwork skills.
