AV Designer - Remote

Overview

The AV Designer will assist the design team in creating all AV designs, including drawings, schedules, and specifications packages, while communicating with clients to understand project objectives.

In Short

• Lead AV design projects and communicate directly with clients.
• Organize and manage the internal design team.
• Produce AV design documents including plans and specifications.
• Assist in on-site installation supervision and programming.
• Perform QAQC on all client deliverables.
• Travel to project sites and client meetings as required.
• Continue professional development in emerging technologies.
• Experience in theater, film, theme park, or museum design.
• Proficient in 3D drafting software.
• Must be able to read architectural blueprints and electrical drawings.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in AV and show design.
• Strong understanding of current AV technology and industry standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work flexible hours.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or G Suite.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
