Overview

The Systems Reliability Engineer (SRE) plays a critical role in ensuring that the Long-Term Stock Exchange’s cloud-native infrastructure, regulatory reporting workflows, and compliance-driven data systems operate reliably and transparently.

In Short

  • Own key responsibilities across billing, security, business intelligence/data science infrastructure, technical debt remediation, and AWS-based data engineering.
  • Assist the finance team with monthly billing workflow execution.
  • Help design and build automated reporting and billing pipelines using AWS services.
  • Address cloud security findings and coordinate remediation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and BI/DS functions on infrastructure needs.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents.
  • Communicate clearly and coordinate with vendors for timely resolution.
  • Proactively highlight high-priority issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Learn new tools and technologies quickly.
  • Take ownership of systems, workflows, and improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong AWS experience, especially with data pipeline architectures.
  • Proficiency with Terraform/Terragrunt and GitHub workflows.
  • Expert scripting skills.
  • Experience with Go (preferred) and Python (legacy).
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management tools.
  • Strong Linux fundamentals.
  • Ability to manage compliance-oriented workflows.
  • Strong communication and documentation habits.
  • Ability to triage issues independently.
