Overview

Join a growing Systems Reliability Engineering (SRE) team within a global financial services leader’s Production Engineering organization. In this role, you’ll enhance system service availability, observability, performance, and resilience through modern software engineering principles and infrastructure automation.

In Short

• Contract opportunity as a Systems Reliability Engineer (SRE).
• Hybrid opportunity in New York, NY (3 days onsite per week).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, build, and maintain scalable systems.
• Troubleshoot across the full technology stack.
• Implement automation to improve system management.
• Provide production support services.
• Participate in an on-call rotation (2x per month).

Requirements

• Proficiency with Linux system administration.
• Strong experience in database scripting, performance tuning, and monitoring.
• Working knowledge of Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
• Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility for on-call rotations.
• Experience with monitoring tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of development tools like Git and Jenkins.
• Agile, DevOps, or SRE experience is preferred.
• Understanding of cloud technology.
