Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - PRN Status - Remote

Overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide basic nursing care to patients in a Critical Access Hospital setting under the supervision of Registered Nurses and/or Licensed Practical Nurses, serving diverse populations including adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics.

In Short

• Provide basic patient care under the guidance of RNs and LPNs.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines like Physical Therapy.
• Maintain patient care goals and communicate with nursing staff.
• Record vital signs and inform nursing staff of abnormalities.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) for patients.
• Maintain clean and organized patient areas.
• Participate in flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.
• Support team during busy periods and employee absences.
• Adhere to Logan Health customer service policies.
• Engage in professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Montana C.N.A. License.
• 1-3 years of C.N.A experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts and attend meetings.
• Commitment to maintaining patient rights and privacy.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening.
• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
