Ammonia Refrigeration Technician - Remote

Join the team that keeps Lineage running efficiently and safely! At Lineage, our Maintenance Technicians play a key role in keeping our facilities operating smoothly. In this role, you’ll work with a variety of systems: mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration (including ammonia) to help maintain, repair, and improve the equipment that powers our cold storage operations.

In Short

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and building systems.
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, wiring, and electrical components.
• Maintain and repair building infrastructure and material-handling equipment.
• Complete daily work orders and log all tasks in CMMS.
• Communicate maintenance updates and equipment needs.
• Support outside contractors to ensure safety standards.
• Safely operate motorized lifts for inspections and maintenance.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
• Commitment to safety and following all company standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of mechanical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial refrigeration.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Computer proficiency, especially in Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in various temperature environments.
• Successful completion of Refrigeration Operator I certification within 6 months.
