.Net Developer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an extremely detailed and hard-working individual with 7+ years' experience building web applications and related components. This individual would be working on multiple client projects across multiple industries and will have the continued opportunity to work on emerging tech. This individual must have working experience and knowledge of web application development within the Microsoft technology stack including C#, .Net Core, Entity Framework Core, TypeScript, and SQL Server. The candidate must be able to work in both a team and individual contributor setting. Experience in Azure PaaS/SaaS, microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes and managing a small team of developers is a plus. Experience with modern front-end frameworks, such as Angular or ReactJS, is a plus.

In Short

• Work on end-to-end modernization of existing .NET systems
• Design, build and version RESTful (or GraphQL) APIs using .NET Core/.NET 6+
• Modernize and migrate services to Azure App Services, Azure Functions, or Kubernetes
• Implement CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.) for automated build, test and deployment
• Integrate with Azure PaaS components: SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, Event Grid
• Enforce secure-by-design principles (OWASP Top 10 mitigation, Azure AD/B2C authentication/authorization)
• Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, QA and DevOps to deliver high-quality features on aggressive schedules
• Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive best practices in design, testing and maintainability
• Troubleshoot performance, scaling and availability issues in production and pre-prod environments

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building and / or modernizing .NET and .NET MVC applications
• 3+ years developing Angular (v10+) front-end applications in production
• Solid C# skills and familiarity with .NET Core/.NET 6+
• Hands-on Azure development: Web Apps, Functions, SQL DB/Cosmos, Storage, AD/B2C, Service Bus/Event Hubs
• Expertise writing and securing RESTful/GraphQL APIs
• Experience implementing CI/CD with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Proficient with Git-based workflows, feature branching and pull requests
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, unit/integration testing

• Experience containerizing .NET and Angular apps with Docker and deploying to AKS
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and Azure API Management
• Hands-on with serverless patterns (Durable Functions, Logic Apps)
• Experience using Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Knowledge of front-end state management (NgRx, RxJS patterns)
• Exposure to UX/UI frameworks (Bootstrap, Material) and responsive design
• Previous involvement in Agile/Scrum/Kanban teams
