Croatian Language Linguist - Remote

Overview

The primary expectation for this role as a Linguist for the linguistics team is proficiency in Croatian, enabling you to effectively manage, develop, and optimize linguistic resources.

In Short

• Analyze and improve data quality of multilingual text classifiers
• Translate various taxonomies such as Skills, Titles, and Occupations
• Annotate data used for model training and validation
• Build and maintain languages per Lightcast standards
• Foster the Croatian language for various products
• Become an active part of a multicultural team
• Quickly learn the ins and outs of the role
• Strong understanding of syntax and structural analysis of languages
• Experience with data analysis
• Knowledge of RegEx preferred

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, NLP or similar
• Strong linguistics knowledge
• Microsoft Excel experience (including vlookups, data cleanup, and functions)
• Experience with data analysis using tools such as Excel
• Understanding of syntax and structural analysis of languages
