Senior Mobile iOS Build and Release Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Mobile Build and Release Engineer on the Life360 Engineering team, you will help keep the Mobile CI/CD pipeline running at top speed.

In Short

• Build, maintain, and operate mobile app CI/CD pipelines.
• Operate build infrastructure and work with vendor partners.
• Create next-generation developer tooling for mobile apps.
• Track usage of infrastructure services and ensure performance.
• Develop telemetry and alerting for build infrastructure improvements.
• Monitor and fix build pipelines, identifying bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with leadership and key partners.
• Keep build pipelines updated with new Xcode versions.
• Focus on making developers happy and productive.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on technical experience.
• Proficient in Swift and scripting languages (Ruby, Python, Go).
• Experience with dependency management systems like SPM and Cocoapods.
• Experience containerizing build workloads.
• Experience with artifact management tools.
• Experience with Fastlane deployment.
• Experience with Mobile App Distribution to the Apple App Store.
• Experience with CI/CD principles and operations.
• Working experience with CI/CD platforms like Buildkite, Jenkins, CircleCI.
