Full Stack React/Go Engineer - Remote

Overview

Lean Tech is seeking an associate level Full Stack Engineer to help deliver on our mission to free consumers from the hassles of everyday travel by making it faster and easier to get where you need to go. This role focuses on both frontend and backend systems, providing a variety of exciting challenges.

In Short

• Code in React and JavaScript for frontend work
• Code in Ruby on Rails and Go for backend work
• Write unit tests
• Deliver projects promptly while maintaining high-quality standards
• Conduct technical spiking to explore and evaluate future initiatives
• Ship clean, testable code that is easy to understand
• Perform code reviews for pull requests
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, UX, and QA on product development
• Utilize Slack for prompt communication
• Work collaboratively during planning and grooming stages

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer or Developer
• 4+ years of experience with React, Ruby on Rails, and Go
• Computer Science background, preferably with a relevant degree
• Proven experience with webpack
• Experience with package managers like Yarn or Npm
• Familiarity with TypeScript
• 4+ years of experience building scalable APIs and services
• Familiarity with AWS services such as DynamoDB, SQS, S3, and EB
