Overview

The Clinical Nurse (RN) in the Pediatric Emergency Department provides hands-on patient care in a Level 1 Trauma Center, practicing evidence-based nursing within the California Nursing Practice Act.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • One year of Pediatric Emergency nursing experience required.
  • California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
  • Experience in Level 1 Trauma and tertiary Emergency Departments preferred.
  • Effective communication skills in English.

  • Ability to manage rapidly changing situations.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in nursing practice.
