• An interpreter’s responsibility is to convey another individual’s thoughts and intentions quickly and accurately into a target language.
• Must be culturally competent and determine how the message is intended to be received.
• Ability to quickly grasp spoken phrases and express the messaging concisely.
• Provide language solutions through on-site in-person and remote interpreting options.
• Professionally communicate and conduct the interpreting session.
• Maintain confidentiality as required by HIPAA.
• Native fluency in English and Dari or Farsi is required.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Flexible scheduling available during regular business hours.
• Must pass pre-screening assessments and background checks.

Requirements

• Native Fluency in English and Dari or Farsi.
• Excellent listening, speaking, and retention skills.
• Experience using medical terminology.
• Possess a valid CA driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Must be willing to obtain medical clearances and vaccinations.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.
• Attention to detail and a desire to continue learning.
