Lago is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all financial operations, providing strategic direction and financial management expertise to streamline processes and enhance financial health.

In Short

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure accurate financial records.
• Oversee payroll processing to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Prepare and file quarterly federal and state taxes, ensuring full compliance with tax regulations.
• Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Develop and manage financial projections, models, and budgets to support business growth.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, strengths, and weaknesses in the company’s operations.
• Advise leadership on key financial decisions, including investments and pricing strategies.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure financial stability.
• Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals as needed.
• Stay updated on financial regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Quickbooks Online.
• Ability to run financial records in either cash or accrual basis.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong analytical skills to assess financial risks and create strategies.
• Excellent communication skills for advising leadership.
