Cybersecurity Engineer - Remote

Overview

Kreative Technologies is in search of a cyber-security engineer with extensive experience within the Department of Defense (DoD) who can work independently to perform certification and accreditation (C&A) efforts to achieve Authority to Operates (ATO) accreditations, perform risk assessments (RA) and annual reviews (AR).

In Short

• Prepare, review and critique C&A documentation for compliance with DoD policies.
• Assess program security compliance and support program briefs.
• Evaluate the security posture of multiple systems.
• Assist in the preparation and revision of IA policy documents.
• Provide critical analysis of systems documentation and vulnerability reports.
• Provide C&A support for DoD Information Assurance Certification.
• Review vulnerability assessments and system security plans.
• Plan COOP artifacts for compliance.
• Provide input to project status reports.

Requirements

• 4+ years of direct experience with cyber security requirements.
• 4+ years of experience working within DoD Services or Agencies.
• 4+ years of experience with writing SSPs or related documentation.
• 4+ years of experience with DoD 8500.1, 8500.2, 8510.01, or NIST SP 800-37 & 53.
• 4+ years of experience with Windows Server operating systems.
• 4+ years of experience with computer network devices.
• 4+ years of experience resolving security findings.
• 4+ years of experience with C&A package review.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
