Overview

As a fully remote company, Kraken is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our Desktop team, responsible for building Kraken’s flagship trading application.

In Short

• Create comprehensive test plans before feature development.
• Perform hands-on manual testing during development cycles.
• Balance manual exploratory testing with automation.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Help design and build a custom desktop testing framework.
• Design and maintain desktop UI automation suites.

• Drive performance, security, and accessibility testing.
• Document, report, and triage bugs.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in Python or another automation-oriented language.
• Trading knowledge and experience.
• Ability to design comprehensive test plans.
• Experience with test automation frameworks.
• Strong manual testing skills.
• Familiarity with desktop automation tools.
• Understanding of QA principles.
• Comfort with CI/CD integration.
