Senior Finance & Accounting Associate - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Senior Finance & Accounting Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a small team environment and is comfortable managing a broad range of finance and accounting responsibilities.

In Short

• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including accurate and timely invoicing.
• Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collections.
• Apply and reconcile customer payments; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate AR records and support cash flow management.
• Process and review vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Handle ad hoc financial analysis and operational support as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 3+ years of accounting and finance experience.
• Experience working in small or mid-sized organizations preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
