Insurance Defense Attorney - Remote

Overview

This role is for an Insurance Defense Attorney who will work primarily remotely but has the option to use the Phoenix office for in-person collaboration. The attorney will manage substantive litigation cases in a boutique law firm focused on insurance defense.

• Work directly with an experienced Arizona litigator.
• Handle high-exposure commercial vehicle defense cases.
• Primarily remote with flexibility for in-office work.
• Manage a litigation caseload from assignment through resolution.
• Take and defend depositions and handle trial work.
• Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and trial briefs.
• Appear in Arizona state and federal courts.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on case strategy.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and counsel.
• Must hold an active Arizona Bar license.

Requirements

• 3+ years of insurance defense experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience strongly preferred.
• Direct experience with depositions and trial work.
• Active Arizona Bar license is required.
