Overview

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all shipping and receiving activities at a Branch location, ensuring timely delivery of items and proper maintenance of stocked merchandise.

In Short

• Perform shipping and receiving activities under supervision.
• Ensure accuracy in picking and shipping items.
• Prepare items for delivery and secure packages.
• Sort and organize materials according to established codes.
• Report damaged inventory to the warehouse supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• May deliver items to customers and process counter sales.
• May operate a forklift or similar equipment.
• Receive items in the computer system for inventory tracking.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED typically required.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs.
• May need forklift certification.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
