Overview

R.M. Davis is seeking an experienced Trust Officer to be responsible for the effective oversight of accounts where members of the company serve as Trustee in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.

In Short

  • Provide comprehensive counsel on various trust, estate, and tax matters.
  • Review, counsel, and approve all trust and trustee activities and transactions.
  • Work closely with internal departments regarding trust functions and transactions.
  • Serve as a liaison among various external parties to facilitate transactions.
  • Oversee third-party services provided to trusts and beneficiaries.
  • Coordinate all tax work for trusts administered by R.M. Davis.
  • Participate on the Trust Oversight Committee and oversee discretionary distribution.
  • Represent the firm in client and beneficiary meetings.
  • Review wills, trust agreements, and beneficiary designations for estate distribution.
  • Engage with beneficiaries, attorneys, and accountants to ensure compliant estate settlement.

Requirements

  • CTFA certification and 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in wealth management firm, trust company, law firm, or bank trust department.
  • Prior trust and estate administration experience.
  • Experience in reviewing and analyzing estate planning documents.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor with a solution-oriented mindset.
