Overview

Wilkes University is seeking qualified faculty to teach online Graduate Nursing courses in the PMHNP program for the Fall 2025 semester.

• Teach online Graduate Nursing courses in the PMHNP program.
• Courses include Clinical Modalities, Psychopathology, and Psychopharmacology.
• Must be engaged in clinical practice and hold a PMHNP certification.
• Doctoral preparation or plans to pursue a doctoral degree required.
• A minimum of 2 years of online teaching experience is necessary.
• Experience with learning management systems, preferably D2L / Brightspace.
• Ability to monitor and grade clinical logs using InPlace system.
• Strong communication skills for problem-solving with students and staff.

• Located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• Doctorally prepared or planning to pursue a doctoral degree.
• PMHNP certification and unencumbered RN license required.
• Eligible for Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner license for clinical courses.
• Demonstrated ability to engage students in active learning.
• Minimum of 2 years of successful online teaching experience.
• Experience with clinical log documentation systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
