CMBS - Associate Director - Remote

Overview

KBRA UK Limited is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate (CRE) credit analyst to join our team in London. This role involves assigning new ratings and providing surveillance on CMBS securitizations and other CRE-related transactions. You will play a key role in the process by:

In Short

• Responsible for analysis of all CRE transaction types in Europe, such as CMBS, Small Balance Commercial, CRE CLOs, and corporate real estate.
• Lead or supervise assignment and surveillance of credit ratings.
• Conduct analytical work and transaction diligence.
• Author ratings reports for publication.
• Develop frameworks for emerging asset classes.
• Exhibit thought leadership in industry events.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Prepare internal credit reports for rating committees.
• Conduct property site visits across Europe.
• Publish reports on topical credit issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven expertise in credit analysis for CRE loans.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
• Credit expertise in various CRE properties across Europe.
• Strong skills in due diligence and financial modelling.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
