Senior Finance Manager - Remote

Overview

The Senior Finance Manager plays a key role in ensuring the financial health of Petleo, a growing tech company, by managing liquidity planning, budget planning, and financial reporting.

In Short

• Responsible for liquidity planning including revenue and cost forecasts.
• Manage budget planning and update the business plan.
• Prepare key financial metrics for C-Level and investors.
• Oversee monthly and annual bookkeeping with external accountants.
• Conduct regular reporting and ad-hoc analyses.
• Collaborate with C-Level on strategic data-driven decisions.
• Identify improvement potentials based on data analysis.
• Adapt to new challenges in a startup environment.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Finance).
• 3+ years of experience in a startup, venture capital, or consulting.
• Deep understanding of finance KPIs in B2B (e.g., EBITDA, MRR).
• Strong analytical skills to derive insights from data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting service providers is a plus.
• Hands-on mentality, quick learner, structured and self-organized.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Nice to have: Experience with CRM systems and project management tools.
