Director of Finance - Remote

Overview

This is a remote opportunity with occasional travel, estimated at less than 10%. Kaléo is a global leader in drug‑delivery device technology and auto‑injector innovation, providing millions of patients, government partners, and emergency responders with security and peace of mind.

The Director, Finance serves as a strategic financial partner and the operational backbone of Kaléo’s Corporate Finance and FP&A function, leading budget cycles, financial modeling, and reporting for executive audiences.

In Short

• Own and coordinate all company forecast cycles.
• Prepare scenario and sensitivity analyses for leadership.
• Manage a 13-week rolling cash forecast.
• Provide detailed revenue and COGS analysis.
• Assist commercial operations in evaluating contracts.
• Lead and develop a team of Finance Managers and Analysts.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations.
• Build relationships across departments and with executives.
• Support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
• Explore AI-enabled finance capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in finance roles.
• 4+ years supervising a finance team.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial planning systems.
• Healthcare or pharmaceuticals experience preferred.
• MBA preferred; CPA or CFA a plus.
