Overview

As a Senior Payroll Operations Specialist – UK & Ireland on the International team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of payroll for employees across both countries. This role involves researching, troubleshooting, and resolving payroll-related inquiries with precision.

• Execute day-to-day operations for UK and Ireland payroll systems.
• Monitor payroll payments and resolve payroll-related issues.
• Perform payroll reconciliation and ensure accuracy in statutory deductions.
• Maintain knowledge of UK and Irish payroll tax laws.
• Implement payroll workflows for efficiency and compliance.
• Act as a payroll subject matter expert for internal teams.
• Manage statutory tasks including processing tax codes and contributions.
• Support year-end reconciliation and reporting processes.
• Partner with Audit and Accounting teams to improve payroll controls.
• Identify and address inefficiencies in payroll execution.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in payroll or operations, with 2 years managing payroll processes in the UK/Ireland.
• Recognized payroll qualification (CIPP or IPASS) is a plus.
• Knowledge of UK PAYE and Irish PRSI, USC, and income tax requirements.
• Familiarity with business process management activities.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented.
• Ability to thrive under pressure.
