The Senior Payroll Operations Specialist will oversee end-to-end payroll operations at Egen, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple countries.

In Short

• Manage semi-monthly payrolls for 350+ employees across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Europe.
• Ensure correct application of deductions, tax withholdings, and benefits.
• Maintain compliance with payroll-related laws and regulations.
• Administer and optimize payroll systems including Paychex and Remote.com.
• Create, analyze, and maintain payroll reports and records.
• Identify areas for operational improvement in payroll processes.
• Collaborate with HR on employee compensation and benefits programs.
• Assist Finance with bill reconciliation for health and welfare plans.
• Monitor benefit funding including FSA and HSA.
• Support audits with accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience managing international payrolls in a consulting environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• 4-6+ years of payroll experience, including global payroll.
• Proficient in Paychex and payroll system administration.
• Solid understanding of payroll laws and benefits administration.
• Experience generating reports and supporting audits.
