Overview

As a mid level Backend Engineer at JOIN, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical foundation of our platform, impacting product quality and customer experience.

In Short

Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.
Define requirements and propose scalable solutions.
Conduct peer code reviews to improve code quality.
Build scalable backend services with clean architecture.
Engage in technical retrospectives to enhance team culture.
Work closely with Product, Frontend, and other Backend engineers.
3+ years of experience in backend development required.
Experience with RDBMS and writing tests is essential.
Proactive and reliable with strong communication skills.
Growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.

Requirements

Experience with strongly typed languages or TypeScript.
Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Nice to have experience with GraphQL and cloud platforms.
Knowledge of gRPC and protocol buffers is a plus.
Understanding of SOLID principles is advantageous.
