Senior IT Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

We’re hiring a Senior IT Security Engineer to support our Loss Prevention IT team, focusing on physical security systems.

In Short

• This is a contract opportunity with potential to extend or convert.
• This is a fully remote role, with occasional on-site support in the MA area preferred.
• Design and deploy access control and CCTV systems, including software and hardware.
• Manage virtual machines (VMware, Hyper-V, cloud).
• Configure and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures.
• Ensure system integration with security platforms (e.g., Genetec).
• Provide ongoing technical support and documentation.
• 8+ years of experience in security systems installation and programming.
• Proficient with Genetec, Axis, Hanwha, DMP, Bosch systems.
• Genetec certifications required.
• Familiar with TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and network security.

Requirements

• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
