Senior Accounting Associate I - Remote

Overview

This role will be responsible for coordinating, facilitating and executing accounting and financial transactional processes, monitoring performance, reconciling and reporting financial and operational results, and improving financial systems and processes.

In Short

• Coordinate cash management of assigned properties.
• Prepare timely and accurate reporting by established deadlines.
• Perform month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Assist in producing timely and accurate monthly financial statements.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations accurately.
• Prepare schedules to support account balances.
• Communicate and present monthly reviews of reconciliations.
• Provide finance operations support to multiple business segments.
• Compile and analyze financial information for management reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• 3 years of accounting experience required.
• Enterprise Financial System experience is a must.
• Real Estate experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to take on new challenges.
