Plumber - Remote

Overview

The Plumber will oversee the daily operation of the campus' water and steam processes, performing both preventative and corrective maintenance on various plumbing systems.

In Short

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm.
• Salary range of $28.84 to $35.00 hourly.
• On-call work required once every 8 weeks.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Must have knowledge of commercial building plumbing systems.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills needed.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Work with clients to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Track work orders and ensure timely completion.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in plumbing systems.
• Experience in biomedical facilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and boiler controls.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient in basic computer applications like MS Office.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and make data-driven decisions.
