Maintenance Technician II - Mech & Robotics - Remote

Overview

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians.

In Short

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all operations facilities.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts of up to 12 hours.
• Possible travel up to 20% at a minimum.
• 1 year of experience in PC competency required.
• Opportunity to mentor junior technicians.
• Work in a dynamic environment with diverse tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Flexible schedules/shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls preferred.
• Experience in repair of material handling equipment.
• Experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment safety standards.
• Project Management experience is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
