Maintenance Technician II - Mech & Robotics Tech - Remote

Overview

As a Maintenance Technician II at JLL, you will support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, while also mentoring junior technicians.

• Support the Operations Maintenance team in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain positive working relationships across the facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Mentor junior technicians to help them grow in their roles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience with PC competency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Associates or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 2+ years of experience in repair of material handling equipment.
• 1+ years of metal and wood fabrication experience.
• 1+ year of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience with MHE safety standards.
• Project Management experience is a plus.
• Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
