Electrician/Electrical Mechanic - Remote

Overview

The Electrician/Electrical Mechanic will provide electrical support for the site electrical system, handling responsibilities from medium voltage power to HVAC controls, and ensuring the efficient operation of all building systems.

• Provide electrical support for Central Utility Plant and laboratory buildings.
• Maintain operation of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for electrical work.
• Install and repair various electrical systems and components.
• Analyze system operations and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies.
• Participate in the maintenance of HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Implement standard operating systems and practices.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.

Requirements

• Five years’ experience with low, medium and high voltage electricity.
• Ability to read HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and architectural blueprints.
• Proficiency in using Windows based computers.
• Journeyman Electrician certification preferred.
• High school diploma and two years of trades schooling in electrical system design preferred.
• Experience with uninterruptible power systems and HVAC controls.
• Electrical License is required.
