Data Center Engineer (Day Shift) - Remote

Overview

The Data Center Operations Engineer is responsible for the delivery of best practice systems and problem resolution on all data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure.

In Short

• Maintain and monitor data center systems for 100% uptime.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Analyze system operations and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Manage work orders and vendor interactions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and hazardous material policies.
• Respond to site emergencies and incidents.
• Record and adjust equipment readings for optimal performance.
• Work in a physically demanding environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure operational excellence.
• Adapt to various schedules and work requirements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data center or critical facility operations.
• Experience with UPS systems and emergency generators.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office and Google Suite.
• Preferred: Corrigo experience and Universal EPA 608 certification.
• Trained in NFPA70E.
