Chief Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Chief Engineer oversees the efficient, safe and responsible operation of all building systems and equipment while leading the engineering team at JLL, managing a large mixed-use project in Midtown and Soho District.

In Short

• Lead and manage engineering team(s)
• Manage multiple major construction projects
• Oversee the maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems
• Supervise and manage engineers and maintenance staff
• Create and update maintenance procedures
• Participate in client-facing communications
• Manage engineering budget
• Respond to emergencies and service calls
• Lead training programs and procedures
• Other duties as requested by property management team

Requirements

• 7-10 years of related experience
• People management experience
• Trade school education or equivalent
• Universal CFC EPA certification
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong customer service and communication skills
