Overview

The Data Center Operations Engineer is responsible for the delivery of best practice systems and problem resolution on all data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure.

In Short

  • Responsible for maintaining and monitoring building systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and ensure continuous operation.
  • Analyze and resolve issues with various systems.
  • Comply with safety policies regarding hazardous materials.
  • Manage work orders and vendor relationships.
  • Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, and working from heights.
  • 2+ years of experience in a data center or critical facility.
  • Experience with building systems including UPS and generators.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and CMMS applications.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience working in a data center/critical facility.
  • Experience with UPS systems, emergency generators, and switchgears.
  • Demonstrated communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Preferred experience with Corrigo.
  • Universal EPA 608 certification.
  • Trained in NFPA70E.
